About Me
I am 39 years old and a 2 year breast cancer survivor. After 5 surgeries and 4 months of dose dense chemo, my new hair is already at my shoulders and my new boobs are much perkier than what I had. I have 2 kids, 5 and 8, and after working 17 years in pharmaceutical mfg, I'm at home happily with the kids for awhile. I have lost both my Mom and Brother-in-law to lung cancer and my Dad to Leukemia. So, cancer sucks.

I am so sorry to hear your news. You and your sister have been through enough. No, I have not heard of either drug. Maybe it is genetic like you said. Anyway, where in your body are you feeling the most pain? I am no couch potato but I am not a star athlete either, so I guess I can honestly tell you that the best medicine I can handle is walking with my husband for about 3 miles as many evenings as we have time for. I tend to have a lot of problems in my feet and legs but it seems the more active I am the better off I feel. Walking is also a stress-buster for me and seems to help relieve some of the tension and pain in my neck and shoulders. It all seems to melt away as my husband and I walk around the dike on top of Lake Okeechobee. The view is beautiful. Let me know how you're doin':)
