Close Parkinson's Disease
My dad has parkinson's dementia.Been sectioned twice, once he was seriously suicidal and the second time he threw himself downthe stairs.he spent two months on a locked ward.the doctors thought he would die but he rallied. he has outbursts of aggression.none of us can visit himregularly. i am single, in full time work and have a teenage daughter. i'm thinking of having dad moved to a care home nearer to me, four hundred miles away in an area he does not know.what do others think?
