Yesterday was beautiful, my husband and i celebrated our wedding anniversary and on sunday we returned from a week long vacation to the beach.  we had a great time at the beach, our son had a ball.  on our first day there our son needed us to help him swim so we went out and bought him some water wings and he was swimming all over the pool.  we caught a really cool crab but it died once we got it home.  our anniversary was beautiful and we made love like never before.  our son went next door to play with the neighbors kids and we had a candle light dinner that i cooked.  i made t-bone steak which i marinaded and shrimp sauteed with baby portobella mushrooms, steamed broccoli, and julieene potatoes which i drizzled with a sour cream/ranch sauce.  my husband loved dinner and he bought 2 bottles of wine.  lets just say that the alcohol helped loosen us up.  we really connected last night and i had a lot of trouble getting up this morning.  he bought me a rose for each year of our marriage and a beautiful card.  i love his cards  because he always adds his own words to them.  i bought him a card (added my own words) a watch, a wallet and some cologne.  on our way back from the beach we stopped and shopped so i really was not looking for a gift from him plus i stay at home everyday with our son, so he does plenty.  anyway we had a great time and he asked if we could have a night like last night once a week, and i replied "YES!"
