  Thank you - it's still hard to open up to anyone or even talk to distant family members (they still do not know!!!) I am still hurting and it hasn't become easier to deal with, not at all...yet we are able to go on, right?

  I know how hard it is and I know the shame that comes with it - we can be strong (even with many tears and too much pain) - hang in there! There is always hope!

  Now that I read my hug..know that I meant well; I meant to say it will get easier to deal with your son in prison..I hope you don't take my previous hug the wrong way. My mom is ok now and smiles again. I was trying to help. God bless.

  My heart pours out to you. I know how hard this must be for you. I watched my mom as my only brother was sentenced to prison for 20 years. While it ripped my heart out, it destroyed her. Trust me when I say you will learn to cope with the pain and you will smile again. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

  Welcome! Which prison in LA will he be in? Did he get sentenced and for how long? My only child is waiting for trial and I am out of state. Let us know so we can give you some tips and pointers how to continue and take the neccessary steps!
