I'm Claire, I'm currently in college working on being a Special Ed teacher. I love to read, watch some TV, and hang out with my friends. Oh, and I loooove Barack Obama :) Yahoo and AOL are both orangecrocsrock if anyone wants to talk :) *I always get a bunch of questions about my SN and where I came up with it cause its weird, and basically the story is that I love those really ugly shoes called Crocs and my first pair was orange, therefore I'm orangecrocsrock!*

Close Sexually Transmitted Diseases - Female
Type: Genital Warts (HPV)Just found out recently that I had contracted HPV. I'm not quite sure who I got it from but I'm just working on coming to terms with things.
Treatments
- Acid treatments Working / Worked
- working pretty well so far on my genital warts, other than the fact that it itches some I really haven't had any trouble with it

I just found out recently that I had contracted HPV, and now I'm just here making some new friends and getting some support!

- Worked really well, got rid of my warts after two treatments.
Open Epilepsy & Seizures
I was diagnosed with Epilepsy at age 5. It took a while to find a medicine that worked for me, but now that I have I've been seizure free for a long time!
Treatments
- Depakote Not Working
- Took this for a while when I was younger, didn't really work to control my seizures. This was years ago though, it may have improved by now.
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- AMAZING drug, I'll never switch now that I've found Lamictal! It changed my life!
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- Took this along with Lamictal for a while and it helped, but I was eventually able to come off of it without having seizures.
Open Hives
I suddenly broke out in hives one day about 5 years ago. No doctor can figure out what causes it, and I'm now on Zyrtec daily to prevent them. I miss one dose and they come back in full force.
Treatments
- Zyrtec Working / Worked
- I take Zyrtec everday, and it has been a lifesaver! Originally it made me sleepy, but now I'm over that and it does a great job of keeping my hives under control.
Open Autism / Autism Spectrum
My younger brother has autism and I'm planning do get my Ed.D. in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- Once we found out the amazingly long list of things Bruce was allergic to at age 6 (potatoes, tomatoes, chocolate, yeast, etc.) he slept through the night for the first time in his life.
- Brushing Therapy Working / Worked
- Calmed him somewhat during thunderstorms that he was afraid of, especially when he was younger.
- Early Intervention Working / Worked
- A CRUCIAL STEP TO MAKE GOOD PROGRESS!!!
- Independent Living Skills Working / Worked
- Bruce is currently a sophomore in high school and is in community based instruciton classes. We are hoping one day he will live independently on his own.
- Patience Working / Worked
- Sometimes he takes the patience of a saint but he's always worth it in the end :)
- Picture / Word Schedules Working / Worked
- Worked very well especially when he was younger, we did a social story for nearly all situations. To help him learn to read, we labeled everything in our house from doors to windows to the table to the steps, plus we did polaroid pictures of friends and family members because he had issues keeping names straight.
