i am a 47yr old with chronic migraines and a autoimmune called APS and raynaudes and neuropathy ect. I have a 26 yr son who is heading to med school in January . Married for 27 yrs. Loved working at the hospital in the cardiac unit til i became a patient of it, loved doing chocolate work tho couldnt eat it cooking fishing and camping. Now just great full to open up the blinds and go do a little gardening. Grow heirloom tomatoes and live life out doors when it is sunrise an sunset. Very photophobic . In need of a doc no one around here knows anything and they just push you out saying its your fault instead of jeez we dont have a clue.In Nov got my old doc back great to have someone again god love her and her trying to ease life for me

gardening when able , cooking same reason, listening to music going to church Use to do fancy chocolateering even tho couldnt eat it . Love being outdoors when it doesnt hurt. Like to ride on my quad if permitted without dieing in pain, fishing and helping others that are worse than self.

i have joined this group to continue my search for relief from my chronic migraines that go hemaplegic and muscle/back pain which is due to one leg being shorter and neuro pain, i have never known life without pain. i found out in 2001 that i have a blood clotting autoimmune that cuauses problems known as APS i take heprin injections for to keep from having more heart attaches and TIA's have a vacular system of a 100 yr old. APS comes with down falls of headaches and all the rest of this garbage

- Chiropractic Adjustment Somewhat Helpful
- sometimes helps sometimes makes it worse
- Heat Working / Worked
- to a degree
- Hydrocodone Somewhat Helpful
- Lyrica Not Working
- caused me to lose weight had to quit taking found neurontin helps more
- Meditation Somewhat Helpful
- Methadone Not Working
- gave me heart palpations and made me puke
- Naproxen Not Working
- Nerve Blocks Working / Worked
- works for a period of 6 months for low back and leg pain
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- works better than any other with out ill effects
- Oxycodone Not Working
- same effects as methadone
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- TENS Not Working
- caused shingles
- Topamax Not Working
- had to quit for the same reason as the lyrica
