Open Alcoholism
I tried and tried on my own to stop drinking. Never worked more than a week or so. Thanks to AA and my higher power, I have been sober (one day at a time) since Sept. 19, 1982.

- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- The first two years I attended a meeting a day, I was so desperate to stop drinking. I had tried to stop drinking on my own and ended up drunk every time. I was willing do to absolutely anything to stop drinking. Attending AA meetings, and working the program saved my life.
