First day of school. My high schooler is already off. My middle schooler is in the shower. The older one will be home in 10 1/2 hours. He's running cross country. He didn't make the soccer team. Oh, so upsetting. And unbelievable. He's played soccerr since he was 5. He was devastated, still is really. I hope he can get past it and enjoy cross country. He's smart and should do well at school, just worried about him emotionally. Such a tough blow to a 14 year old. I'll be thinking of him all day. My 12 year old is seeing such success in his life, it's hard for his older brother. This year will see less of each other than ever. Weird.
