I saw the pdoc the other day. He's nice. I told him about my meeting with my father. He stopped writing, put down his pen, sat back, and listened to the story. He was quite surprised. I told him that I was proud of myself, and he said I should be, that it was a big deal. It was funny to see him so happy for me. I imagine it can be a drag to see depressed people all day telling him that they are depressed. It was a big hurdle for me, and I really think it has made all the difference.
Hope all is well with everyone.

So many people don't take control of their lives and just keep going in the same pattern day in and day out, making the same ole mistakes over and over again. I'm sure you did give him a cause for celebration as you did me too, when I first read about it. :) You are no longer a victim of your dad and are ready to go off depression medication. That is a huge breakthrough and has to be encouraging for everyone around you.
