We are leaving tomorrow for our trip south for Easter. My father called yesterday. He tried to get me to come to his house to meet with him. I was okay with that until he said his wife will be there. I said no. He said that he's been married for 20 years and she's a part of this. No shit. She's part of why we haven't spoken in 4 years. I didn't waver about her, and said that if he didn't want to meet, that's fine. He said that he wanted to meet, so he picked McDonalds. Nice. I'm a vegetarian, and we are meeting at McDs. We picked a time and day. I'll be amazed if he actually shows up on that day. He's going to screw this up, I'm certain of that. It will be a very short meeting. He thinks I'm going to explain myself to him. He's very authoritative and demanding. I'm 43 years old, and I don't need to answer to him.
