the rains are so torrential, you can't even SEE the street.  holy cow. ds is soooo slow.  it freezes and goes slow on me all the time.  i kept blaming my computer, but now i am going to other sites first and it glides along, until i get to ds and then there is always trouble.

the new one, who the humane society called me about yesterday, is a torti point siamese that sneezed, so they were going to kill it and m called me instead.  thank you m.  so i couldn't save the one e brought in to the humane society (which should have been our's it made it to our street, why do people DO these evil things.  and why can't i think straight in the morning as i could have done something if i got in there by 1:00 the woman said when i called.  it was a friendly cat too.  its sickening and i keep thinking was it one of our own who made it back somehow after whatever happened where it was as so many are losing homes and abandoning animals right now.)  but at least i saved this one.  e says you can't save all of them.  no we can't but the deal has been for six years that we save whatever comes our way, whether it gets there on its own, as the one by e's did, or if it is called in and we can help, hopefully.  the new one barely sneezes and i don't think its sick.  i think its allergies.  i was with her at k's last night and it doesn't like kittens, but other than that it seems very nice.  then this morning the fpl people were here and said she comes across kittens and cats all the time.  there is 70 cats/kittens (mostly kittens) being fed west of here but  we don't even cover that area.  so i think fpl is going to start calling in too.  the answer really is changing the laws so that part of property taxes or a federal tax is automatically put toward FREE spay/neuter.  the way it is now putting government MONEY to kill and support a staff to kill, is just plain sick.  barbarians of the 21st century.

had kind of a lupper at k's (excellent as always.  he's a great host) and sat around watching stuff on the history channel about mysteries of the presidents.  george washington had a son named west ford who is half black.  very interesting.  they had the ancestor on, some woman.  then they went on about the secret societies like the free masons and all the crap that benjamin franklin belonged to which is why he had a reputation as a male whore/womanizer and that the usa was supposed to be a new world order of separation of religion and the state as historically religion runs the country.  a lot of it i already knew in a broad sense because i was a religion major for a while and they said the same thing, about religion running things, like democracy is actually based on the new testament.

i supposedly have approval on this loan so i am going back to work in about two seconds to see if it is doable to close soon.  our processor's e mail is down so she didn't receive it yesterday.  however, this bank generally sends e mails at the end of the day anyway, so hopefully we are only a few hours off.  i am disgusting right now.  i went out in the rain to get michele and then i stopped raining so i started pruning trees because its been needing it for a while.  so i am grusome with dirt and rain.  lol.  i also want to weigh in today or tomorrow morning so i can see what i weigh and AGAIN try to lose this weight.  ich.  what  a pest.  never knew weight was such a tricky thing.  now i know.
