Close Asthma

I am a life-long asthmatic who has yet to find medication that allows me to keep it under control, so my pocket bulges with a fast acting inhaler at all times. I was hoping this would end as I entered adulthood but alas, no dice.

tightens my lungs to where I have to use my albuterol to counteract the effects

this is something that I keep a bottle of in case of extreme emergencies where the albuterol or breathing treatment just doesn't work, it has saved my life more than once but makes my heart race and gives me a uncontrollable anxiety, this medicine scares me but as I said, it has saved my life

again, just another bronchial restrictor for me

Theophylline Somewhat Helpful

used extensively as a child, tasted awful in syrup form and made my little body shake like an earthquake until I would vomit

Close Macular Degeneration

diagnosed at 24, blind by 50...told treatment may help but I am also legally blind, which treatment (laser) could help also, but would end up having to choose one or the other...go figure.
