Close Anxiety
I had my first anxiety attack when I was about 12 years old. I started drinking when I was 15 to cope but this did not work obviously. I have been sober now for 2 1/2 years. I am currently pregnant and during my pregnancy my attacks have become almost non-existent. I am worried that once I give birth (2-5-06) they will return and I am looking for support.
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- Worked great.
- Breathwork Working / Worked
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- Worked but I no longer take it.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Works well
- Paxil Not Working
- I hated this medicine. If I ever missed even one dose I would have a severe attack.
Close Depression
My anxiety and depression went hand in hand. Have been suffering on and off for 17 years.
Treatments
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Although I would love to be medication free I love this med. It helps me feel balanced.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I tend to start going when my anxiety gets really bad but it does help.
