Good food and red wine is a definate must. Spending time with family and good friends. Reading, cooking and talking for England!! Nothing better than having my girlfriends round with lots of wine!!

Close Thyroid Cancer
Type: Papillary CarcinomaI found a lump in 2005 and after various tests it was confirmed that I had a 3cm cancerous tumour in my thyroid gland. So far had two operations, radioactive iodine treatment and I have another treatment in October. Just about to start my non iodine diet this Sat 22nd Sept in preparation for my next dose. Left vocal cord accidently cut in 2nd op so that has to be fixed at some stage.
Treatments
- Radioactive Iodine Too Soon to Tell
- Terrible side effects, my oncologist said it was the worst case she had ever seen.
- Thyroidectomy Too Soon to Tell
- Bloomin painful 2nd op, very ill.
