    • About Me

I was diagnosed with MS three days after going to the doctor with what I thought was pink eye! It was confirmed with 3 MRIs and an LP later in the month. In addition to having MS, I'm a single mom of two great kids, a writer, and a recovering person. I am writing a book and blogging about my experience as a person with MS (from a humorous, liberal perspective) at http://lazyjulie.blogspot.com.

If I call you friend, You will always share a piece of my heart. I will always pride myself, To always be true to you. As much as I need friends, So must you. I will also share a place in your heart, To be there whenever you need me. I may not be there in flesh, But I will always be there in spirit. I will cope with your moods, And try to understand your needs. When you are angry, I will laugh with you. As sadness overwhelms you, We will cry together. If you feel down and kicked, I will pick you up and brush away your doubts. When you think you can't continue, I will remind you that you can. As you become discouraged, I will boost your ego high. At times when you wish to talk, My attention will all be yours. Being a friend I don't take lightly, It's my desire, never a chore. At times when you must mourn, I shall mourn with you. If you need some silence, yet not be alone, We will sit together in the peace of quiet. When you wish to play, You will always have a playmate. When you feel on top of the world, I'll pat your back and tell you, you deserve to be. You will never be completely alone, A piece of me will always be with you. One thing I can always give, Is the gift of friendship for you to accept. Allow our friendship to make you smile, Bring joy to your life as you have to mine. When you become confused and lose your way, Let me guide you in the right direction. Lean on me when you need support, Let me share your sorrow and pain. What good can a friend really be, If you cannot understand we will always care. If I call you friend, You will always know, A friend you have in me.

If I could catch a rainbow I would do it just for you and share with you its beauty On the days you're feeling blue. If I could build a mountain You could call your very own; A place to find serenity, A place to be alone. If I could take your troubles I would toss them in the sea, But all these things I'm finding are impossible for me. I cannot build a mountain Or catch a rainbow fair, But let me be what I know best, A friend who's always there. This is a Hug Certificate!! Send One to All Your Friends Who You Think Deserve A Hug (Which Hopefully Includes the Person Who Sent It to You). You might send it to your enemies as well! It'll really tick 'em off!

This is beautiful please read !! A drunk man in an Oldsmobile They said had run the light That caused the six-car pileup On 109 that night. When broken bodies lay about And blood was everywhere, The sirens screamed out eulogies, For death was in the air. A mother, trapped inside her car, Was heard above the noise; Her plaintive plea near split the air: Oh, God, please spare my boys! She fought to loose her pinned hands; She struggled to get free, But mangled metal held her fast In grim captivity. Her frightened eyes then focused On where the back seat once had been, But all she saw was broken glass and Two children's seats crushed in. Her twins were nowhere to be seen; She did not hear them cry, And then she prayed they'd been thrown free, Oh, God, don't let them die! Then firemen came and cut her loose, But when they searched the back, They found therein no little boys, But the seat belts were intact. They thought the woman had gone mad And was travelling alone, But when they turned to question her, They discovered she was gone. Policemen saw her running wild And screaming above the noise In beseeching supplication, Please help me find my boys! They're four years old and wear blue shirts; Their jeans are blue to match.. One cop spoke up, They're in my car, And they don't have a scratch. They said their daddy put them there And gave them each a cone, Then told them both to wait for Mom To come and take them home. I've searched the area high and low, But I can't find their dad. He must have fled the scene, I guess, and that is very bad. The mother hugged the twins and said, While wiping at a tear, He could not flee the scene, you see, For he's been dead a year. The cop just looked confused and asked, Now, how can that be true? The boys said, Mommy, Daddy came And left a kiss for you. He told us not to worry And that you would be all right, And then he put us in this car with The pretty, flashing light. We wanted him to stay with us, Because we miss him so, But Mommy, he just hugged us tight And said he had to go. He said someday we'd understand And told us not to fuss, And he said to tell you, Mommy, He's watching over us. The mother knew without a doubt That what they spoke was true, For she recalled their dad's last words, I will watch over you. The firemen's notes could not explain The twisted, mangled car, And how the three of them escaped Without a single scar. But on the cop's report was scribed, In print so very fine, An angel walked the beat tonight on Highway 109.. He who has a thousand friends has not a friend to spare. This morning when the Lord opened a window to Heaven, He saw me, and he asked: 'My child, what is your greatest wish for today?' I responded: 'Lord please, take care of the person who is reading this message, their family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very much.' This message works on the day you receive it. Let us see if it is true ANGELS EXIST but some times, since they don't all have wings, we call them FRIENDS. Pass this on to your true friends. Something good will happen to you at 11:11 in the evening; something that you have been waiting to hear. Please do not break this prayer; send it to a minimum of 5 people!

      Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

I was diagnosed with probable MS on September 1 and definite MS on September 17. I am a mom with 2 small kids. I'm scared but hopeful. I am writing a book about my experience that I'm starting as a blog: http://lazyjulie.blogspot.com

      Treatments

      Prednisone Working / Worked
Pimples galore and insomnia but it helped with fatigue and muscle aches and somewhat with eyesight.
      Rebif Too Soon to Tell
I started in mid-October. My neuro will do another series of MRIs after 6 months on rebif to see if there are more lesions. If not, it's working. If there are more, I guess he will switch me to something else.
