Close Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
Type: B-cellDiagnosed in late 2004 with a three-year remission after extensive chemo. Just relapsed and considering alternatives. Best bet with be a stem cell transplant but I don't have an allogenic match.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- 8 months of Cytoxan + Fludara provided a three-year remission. Almost no side effects although I was neutropenic and had thrombocytopenia.I worked through it all.
- Cytoxan Working / Worked
- Fludara Working / Worked
- Cytoxan + Fludara gave me three year remission. Infusion for three days every three weeks. Worked beautifully and I was able to continue work throughout. And alhtough I did become neutropenic, I was able to avoid infection.
