Wife of 22yrs, mother of 4, & loan officer. Cancer was a wake up call. Pre-cancer I was a RE Agent working 24/7-I quit Real Estate, began originating loans, moved to the Beach & am totally enjoying life! Started new company-selling designer fans to help w/hot flashes & funding several cancer foundations w/profits. www.fantheflash.com is my website. Learned alot thru cancer. Had great support, Dr's & learned that state of mind probably the most important asset I had in getting thru Chemo.

Hello. Here is a hug for you. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. Due to my worsened joint disease, I can't hug regular, and this is the first attempt, since the worsened diagnosis, in mid October. I won't rattle about it, just that i am in constant pain, and it affects my ankles, wrists, fingers, and other , all places at different times, so I try to get on once or twice a month, and write a journal to all friends here as it is easier for me. I appreciate your contiued prayers and support. I hope you have a Merry Christmas. Love talksalot Nashville, TN

Stage: IIA (T1 N1)Wife of 22yrs, Mother of 4, Loan Officer. Cancer was a wake-up call. Precancer I was a RE Agent working 24/7. I quit Real Estate, began originating loans, moved to the beach & am loving life! Treatments
- Arimidex Working / Worked
- Changed to tamoxifen after 2.5 yrs - too much bone loss. Hot flashes are horrific!
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- Tired! Lucky! Kept my hair, had a real pattern, stable weight, no real side effects which I mark up to attitude! Nothing will stop me!
- Mastectomy Working / Worked
- Best decision for me - required more surgeries than lumpectomy-but I believe less chance of re-occurrence & the new ones are Beautiful!
