I love writing, especially poems. I have been writing poems since I lost my dad at 10 years old. I also love scrap booking, traveling, eating out, shopping, car shows and spending time with my boyfriend.

hey! not much. i haven't been on here in like a week! haven't really been busy, just haven't been going on the computer much. It's summer, i don't want to sit inside in front of this stupid thing lol... everything's going well right now. work. tryin to find a second job. trying to save up and move out! i'm desperate to getr out of here

Diagnosed at age 12 and still have problems getting this under control.
Treatments
- Celebrex Not Working
- I never noticed a significant difference while taking Celebrex. It upset my stomach a lot.
- Medrol Somewhat Helpful
- helps for the flares but sucks going off of it
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- I just started this in the middle of Decemeber. I had severe headaches at first but worked through them. Then I had a LOT of hair loss so my doctor took me off
- Plaquenil Not Working
- I took this back in 2/2007 and my dr. wanted me to try it again 7/1/07 and I really don't care for this one. I messes up my stomach really bad- gave me nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- Somewhat helpful, it made me develop "temporary diabetes" - in the middle of the night i was waking up to go pee about 6 times
- Azulfidine Too Soon to Tell
- Just started on 81408.....
Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
RA is another disease that has been with me for a long time. It's a horrible disease and determines how my day will go. I'm so young, yet my body feels like its 90 because of the RA

- Celebrex Not Working
- Didn't feel a significant change and gave me an upset stomach.
- Folic Acid Not Working
- Not helpful with the hair loss at all.....
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- It was somewhat helpful but I had a LOT of hair loss. I lost half of my hair in 2 months. My doctor took me off it because of the hair loss
- Pain Management Clinic Not Working
- I tried it before but did not like it and was not going enough for them to continue my treatment. I was young and had no transportation so they basically kicked me out.
- Plaquenil Not Working
- Didn't feel a difference and it made me really sick.
- Swimming Not Working
- Doctors always tell me swimming is great for my foot and should help build up strength but it makes me miserable in pain.
- Tylenol Somewhat Helpful
- Helps slightly for a hour or two but thats all.
- Voltaren Not Working
- Didn't make a difference in the pain.
Open Asthma
Type: OtherStarted out as exercise induced while I was a child, and over the years has progressed. I now have asthma attacks here and there, especially when my allergies are bad

- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- It's hard to not eat all of the foods I am allergic to because I don't realize they are in some of the foods.
Open Osteoporosis
I was about 10 years old and diagnosed with osteoporosis. By the time I was 10, I had broken 10 bones. I just had an x-ray done in April which confirmed I still have Osteoporosis.......just freakin wonderful

- I try and take calcium everyday, but there are the days I forget.

Type: Loss of a ParentI lost my hero and best friend to cancer 10 years ago. I miss him like hell and want to make him proud. I am becoming a nurse because of him. I can only hope that he is proud of me and watching over me....my angel

- I absolutely love music. Music can cheer me up! Music is a beautiful thing. I always listened to oldies and country with my daddy

- Poetry is my number one treatment! I can say ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. It's the best way to cope without harming yourself or anyone else and feel good about it.
- Prayer Somewhat Helpful
- Prayer is important to me. I feel like a strong connection with him watching me and being with me when I do pray.
- Remembering Somewhat Helpful
- I always remember the good times with him....My family speaks of times when we did things with him and I don't remember many of them because I was so young. I have pictures of him all over my room.

- I love looking at the pictures of us together.
