Close Anxiety
Severe panic disorder for 20 years intermittantly. Lately, symptoms have reappeared with a vengence. Last two years heart irregularities increasing my anxiety to unbearable levels. Life just doesn't seem like life living this way. Seems so unfair. Currently taking ativan & xanax as needed. Starting on Inderal tomorrow for the heart flutters but am scared to death of what could happen when I take it for the first time.
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- Been on Ativan for 3 years and "LOVE IT". Really get's me through the nights with no side effects!! After being on it for so long there are occasions I have to add a xanax to help with the midnight attacks. Ativan does'nt work as quickly as xanax but has a longer half life. So having both helps!!
- Inderal Too Soon to Tell
- Starting tomorrow for heart irregularities..I AM SCARED TO DEATH TO START BUT REALIZE THIS IS NO WAY TO LIVE!!
- Xanax Working / Worked
- God's gift for us people whom suffer relentlessly. These truly work!!
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- They worked after the initial 2 weeks of increased anxiety and then for 1.5 years had a wonderful panic free life!! Was amazing but I got very upset with the weight gain which was astronomical!! You cannot avoid it..it messes with the metabolism and no matter if you diet/excercise..you still gain weight. So went off it 1 year ago and am back to severe symptoms of panic. "BUT" am starting on Inderal tomorrow and hope this will work just as well.
