Doris Day is my favorite actress. All I could find on YouTube to share here were some comedy bits (and there were a few musical numbers also.) To catch her edgier side, check out "Love Me or Leave Me," "The Man Who KNew Too Much," or "Midnight Lace."

I liked the sound of her speaking voice, and her freckles. She had beautiful skin.

She never seems like she's acting to me. I always believe whatever role she's in. Though it's not necessarily my favorite movie of hers, I thought she was remarkable in "The Man Who Knew Too Much." She had a neurotic edge underneath her character that evolved with the circumstances of the movie. In the beginning, before everything gets crazy, she's sorta nasty and bitchy; not enough to call her on it, but she says everything with that passive-aggressive delivery that you could imagine James Stewart's famous wife would have. Just a little spoiled by the public and neglected by her husband. And that 9 minute scene in Albert Hall of her freaking out without any dialog at all is amazing.
