I think Alan Arkin is my favorite actor. Just thinking back to Inspector Clouseau, The Russians Are Coming ...., the Heart Is A Lonely Hunter, Wait Until Dark ... and I've only seen clips of Little Miss Sunshine and this one, "Joshua Then And Now."
Check it out:

also, "The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming."

Doris Day is my favorite actress. I'm gonna make a page of links to some of her stuff on You Tube.

He's classic in Little Miss Sunshine. My favorite actor (when he is cast correctly) is Charles Dutton, but I am also a HUUUUGGGGE Ed Harris fan.

when I read this, all that came to mind was "innocence and comedy", acting and comedy in another time, when "shock" was not the rage...and innocence was valued.

I looked up both Dutton and Harris, but the only thing I've seen was "The Truman Show" (which I love, and actually own on VHS).

Ed Harris has always creeped me out for some reason. His wife, Amy Madigan, creeps me out even more. They're the creepy family. Charles Dutton is good. Wasn't he in one of the "Alien" movies?

I saw the name alan arkin & I instantly thought of the last unicorn which was an HBO movie from the eighties. He was the voice of Schmendrick which was a main character in that movie. That was my favorite movie growing up. This movie is worth checking out if you are a true fan of arkin because he gives a great performance & even sings...

Charles Dutton also used to have a show "ROC" on fox that I loved. Ed Harris is intense, he was amazing in "Pollock" and is always spot on. But...his wife is a bit odd.

I fixed the links here, and it took some doing. I can't seem to get links to work anymore unless they're in messages or hugs. So. I sent myself the links in a message and then copied and pasted them here.
I really hope y'all will look at these two clips. They both make me laugh and like Alan Arkin even more.
Oh. And I watched "Little Miss Sunshine." I liked it, though there wasn't much to it. Arkin was great. I always like Kinnear, too. I didn't really feel the brother and the uncle characters.
