I have known I've had carcinoid for four years and it's been quite a journey. One saving grace for me is that I have never had a "why me!!!!!!!!!!!!!" attitude. I will whine when I don't feel well or when I am in that week before my next $5000 shot. I have since met two people in person who also have carcinoid--that's been really good for me to find someone who UNDERSTANDS me.
