      I had pneumonia a month ago, but it actually was long time coming. I was pretty ignorant about the syptoms and waited too long to see my doctor. Fortunately, I got to see a good pulmonologist who treated me with the right meds. I am grateful.

      Treatments

      Levaquin Not Working
      Not working, but no side effects on me.
      Prednisone Working / Worked
      It quickly decreases the inflammation during my hospitalization (40mg, twice a day).
      Bactrim DS Working / Worked
      Used as antibiotic. 800/160 tablets. 2 tabs, three times a day. Side effect: dry mouth, dehydration, insomnia.
