I had my gallbladder removed and discovered that I did NOT have active Hepatitus C! I did test postive for the anti-bodies, (and always will," but my viral load was ZERO!
All this time thinking that I had Hep-C was a definate screwup by the doctor at Saint Vincents Hospital in Bridgeport Connecticut! I did however stop drinking alcohol, which was made easier when I believed I was infected and at HIGH risk for Liver Disease. There were many things I was either denied or encouraged to restrain from, such as certain meds I might have gotten some benificial results from, as well as other activities I missed out on due to the fear of liver damage and the spreading of said disease!
I guess we have to take the good with the bad and "try" to roll with the punches.
