Charlie took the goose to look at apartments this morning and the goose didn’t like the parking arrangements as he thinks he’s entitled to his very own, special, assigned parking place. After all, we can’t have the Colonel parking in peons places. So, the apartments were a turn off for him as I knew they would be. his massive self importance won’t allow him to come to earth and join the people. But, he did fall in love with the little 3 bedroom house and told Charlie that he’s ready to slap a “For Sale” sign in this front yard. Atta boy Charlie!!
So, God willing, I will be able to make my move ASAP now that the goose is finally beginning to see the light. This could turn out to be the best New Years gift anyone could wish for. What a blessing that would be!
I will give him time to mull all of this over and see where it goes. he’s like a horse, you can lead him to water but you can’t make him drink. And, I can only throw him so many lifesavers before I give up, he will either sink or swim, that’s strictly up to him. It’s not MY problem.

I had supper with a bunch of friends tonight and they aren't too happy with the goose because of how he acted when they all got together in September while I was in Arkansas checking on my property. Needless to say, he has officially earned the title of persona non grata and he well deserves it. he's like a goose, he wakes up in a new world everyday and common sense makes no sense to him. I'm still looking for a place of my own just to save my sanity and keep from doing him bodily harm and/or shaving his eyebrows and hair off. I don't know what planet he's from but it sure as heck isn't a rational one, for sure. I've been rattling his cage though and killing him with kindness and that keeps him completely off balance. I'm more than happy to let him be the ass.
