The MRI showed no xtumors!!!!!!!! The pain and weakness is probably caused by the extended use of steroids. We are giving the dex a rest.

Sounds like the change to this new doctor is just what you needed!! About to have an SCT - Wow! Hopefully that will knock the MM on the head and you will feel much better than you have in a very long time! My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time -- hang in there, for the rewards should be well worth the discomfort!! I only wish that I were a suitable candidate for a transplant, but that's not the case. How long will you have to stay in hospital? Can you take your computer with you? Good to hear how you are doing. I hope they can keep your numbers down...sounds great. We do have so much to be thankful for. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving. We in Canada had ours in Oct. I am doing ok. Everything still looking great. I am feeling good and am still getting a monthly treatment of promidronate. I would love to meet your friend Poppycath..We are getting ready for Christmas and finally got some snow...I really wish it would have stayed away a little longer. I guess your not working with the christmas lights this year. last yr you showed me the site where you were working during the holidays..beautiful. Hows Shirley doing? Keep in touch and take care.
