  I just think it's cruel to give patience a false sense of hope like that. This doctor was highly recommended by other HIV patients, he's been treating HIV patients for most of his career and he's very blunt and straight forward with his delivery of information. I guess it wouldn't hurt to keep looking since I'm told I have many more years to find the "right" doctor. Thanks for your response.

  Thank you for your response to the post. I am sorry about your bad experience with the meds and with your doc, it is a shame and unfortunate. I, too, are starting to feel doubts and need to find another ID doctor. Take care and hope you're recovering well. {{{hugs}}}
