Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I was just diagnosed with Rhumetoid Arthritis this month-Sept 2007.
Treatments
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Makes the pain go away, made my hungry and gained weight
- Cortisone (Injection) Working / Worked
- Have had cortizone injections in knees,wrists shoulders and ankle
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- Started on this med and lets see what happens-UPDATE: on week 2 on this med and believe it is working.. the pain and swelling is DEFINATELY subsiding!!
- Naproxen Working / Worked
- another med that was prescribed to me since I have been in a lot of pain
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- take this along with the methotraxate
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Makes the pain go away, made my hungry and gained weight
- Tylenol Somewhat Helpful
- Humira Too Soon to Tell
- Had my 1st Humira shot today-6/7/09

*Update-Mom passed away 06-30-09..........My mother was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer of April 2007. She had to have her uterus, fallopian tubes and part of a fat wall behind her stomach.
