Close Epilepsy & Seizures
My husband has epilepsy. He has had seizures since he was a teenager but they didn't turn into epilepsy until he got put on dilantin. We have been together for almost 2 years now. He has sleeping grand-mal seizures. But he had his first ever awake grand-mal the other day because he was so sick. I dont know how to cope with it very well. I am hoping to find out more and not be so scared of this disease.
Treatments
- Dilantin Working / Worked
- Usualy keeps seizures under control, makes him sleepy though. But he can function. He cannot ever take generic versions of dilantin.
Close Anxiety
I have such a bad past with so many things that happened to me I wouldn't believe all that could happen to a person if it hadn't happened to me. And to make it worse I live in the past alot so I have anxiety and pretty severe low self esteem. I want help but I dont think it will all fit here so I will just leave it at that for this area.
Treatments
- Hypnotherapy Not Working
- I went to a hypnotist and I am not trusting enough for it to work for me.
Open Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
I'm only 31 and 2 dvt's so far. First one after I had my son 7 years ago. And second one after I quit smoking last year. Go figure. :P Now on Warfarin for life. I still don't know why I have gotten the clots.
Treatments
- Coumadin Working / Worked
- My hair is thinner I think. Wish I knew how to fix that.
