About Me
I enjoy most crafts, esp. counted cross stitch and beading. I am a Wiccan. I prefer getting to know someone before I accept or send a friends request, so please try to respect that, and either message or exchange hugs for a bit first. Thank you. Also, PLEASE do not send me any chain letters; I WILL NOT ANSWER THEM!

Close Hypothyroidism
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2001. the doctor I saw then believed in nothing but Synthroid. He even told me, when I tried to get him to tweak my meds, that I needed to get my information from him, not the internet. I now have a new doctor who has placed me on Armour, a natural thyroid supplement. I feel much better, am losing weight, and am beginning to be able to have a life again. He also monitors blood levels of various vitamins, minerals, and hormones, and supplements accordingly.
Treatments
- Armour Thyroid Working / Worked
- I am a firm believer in Armour. It has tipped the balance for me.
- Synthroid Not Working
- Did not work. I still gained weight, had depression, and felt awful.
Close Alzheimer's Disease
my father died in 1994 of alzheimers. It was a very rough time for my sister and me, as we had to take guardianship (in 1991) in order to help him, as he was very resistant to everything we tried to do for him. His condition finally forced us to place him in an special care unit, as he would not cooperate with us at home in any way. We spent as much time with him at the unit as we could, but also had to run his business in order to keep his bills paid.
Open Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
I began with hypothyroidism, and then discovered that I had active EBV.
