Close Diverticulitis

7 years ago, had pain in lower left abdomen, became excrutiating and severe bloating. Not knowing what it was, waited 4 days to go to hospital. was advised I had diverticulosis, and had ruptured my colon. Should've had the operation then,but thought I could live with it. 20 painful eruptions and three hospital stays later, I am now scheduled for the operation. Sigmoidectomy. I'm worried about how much damage I've already done,just hope that in the event of colostemy, that it's reversible

Levaquin Working / Worked

Flagyl worked best, but eventually no drug or diet stopped the eventual attack.
