Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
My new MD and I are just now exploring this diagnosis- I go for psychiatric evaluation at the end of this month. My new MD spent a lot of time asking me ?s- and I had actually suppressed my reaction to seeing my little brother in his casket.

Treatments
- BuSpar Somewhat Helpful
- Did help, but I had a "drunk" feeling, and people around me complained about my spaciness
- Lexapro Not Working
- Did not work, and made me lethargic. I gained weight.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- All you can do is try!
- Xanax Working / Worked
- If I can take the xanax ahead of time before confrontations, etc., I cope a lot better. I can let things go a LOT more quickly if I take one after an anxiety producing experience.
