Had a wierd thing happen lastnight. I got up to go to bed, and my brian forgot to tell my legs to work. Just collapsed on a heap on the floor! This has happened before, but not for a while.
Today has been a good day really, I spent most of the morning getting things ready for my home office. In the UK we have a store called Argos. You have a great big catalogue and go and collect things. I got lights, new duvet & pillows etc for the newly decorated room (its also the spare room and we are having a guest bed in it (a single bed, with another underneath it). I then had to go to the DIY store and get a few things (and managed to get a few plants for the garden) All this whilst my husband and ben were at rugby.
After my nap, I made some cakes for ben, and went into the garden (its been the first good day in about a week), and pulled out the last of the annuals, and managed to put in some of my perennials (grown from seed - taking over the whole garden!)
.
My husband and Ben went to visit the mother in law (they do this every sunday), and when they got back, I got Pete (husband) to dig out some old roses and some other shrubs that have outlived their usefulness, and replace it with a skimmia japonica. I then pointed where I wanted all of the othe plants, and then ben and I planted loads of crocus and lillies.
After that, Ben and I filled the cupcakes with icing - I think more went in his mouth than the cakes!
A busy day, a good pain day, and not too weak today.

Ha, the quintessential Mom. When not gardening she's making cupcakes for the boys. Sounds like the perfect day. I confess, like Ben, I used to prefer my icing straight from the bag; as much as I could get away with, anyway. I guess most people just use icing from the can now.
