Close Fibromyalgia
Was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 6 years ago. Had gone to my Dr. because I was having so much pain. He did a few test and of course they came back negative. He sent me to a specialist that did a tender point test and said that I diffentely had FM. I had 16 out of 18 tender points. Said that I would have to live with it and learn pain control. What was pain control? I went home and researched my condition and learned that I would have to live with it because there was no cure. I have learned that the weather plays a big role in how I feel day to day as well as stress.

- Helped with the depression I was feeling but not the pain.
- Skelaxin Somewhat Helpful
- Helps with muscle pain at night.
- Mobic Somewhat Helpful
- Helps with muscles spasms,
- Adderall Not Working

- Helped with the sleep disorder. Quit working after a few years.
- Lunesta Working / Worked
- Worked great.
- Massage Somewhat Helpful
- Feels great when I'm not in so much pain. My fiance researched FM so he knows where he can massage and where he can't without causing more pain.

- Can't live without it!

- So far sleeped good but only have taken it for one night.

Have had high cholesterol levels for at least 8 years. Most likely family related.

Was married for almost 20 years until my husband decided he would rather go to a bar everyday after work and then to find out that he was having an affair with the woman who owned the bar. It took me almost a year to figure it out. The divorce was hard and long, but during the year long divorce I met the love of my life, my soul mate.

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionWas diagnosed with depression about 10 years ago. Went through therapy which helped greatly for awhile. One night it got so bad that I tries to cut my wrist, thank God my daughter walked in on me and stopped me. I admitted myself into the hospital and got the help and medication I needed. After taken Wellbutrin for 8 years I got tired of taking pills all the time so took myelf off them. I started to feel better. Now I wish I was back on them again.

Open Sexual Abuse
I was 11 years old when my step-father sexual abused me. The event was so tramatic that I blocked out my whole childhood. Was in therapy and started to remember certain things. Did not care to remember anymore. Therapist wanted to do hypnonsis, but refused. Now I have to live with the trama of the event for the rest of my life. It effects how I react sexual to my partner, which I'm so glad he understands and is patient.

Open Menopause
I am in surgical menopause. i had a hysterectomy 7 years ago. I keep getting cysts on my overies and was in such pain every month. Thank God no more periods.

- Worked ok but decided I wanted to do something natural instead.
Open Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I have been smoking cigerettes since I was 15 years old. I tried off and on again many times. Did quit when I was pregnant with all four of my children but went right back again. Recently my fiance went through a cnacer scare. We thought he had lung cancer, ending up being nothing. So we both tried to quit and then back again and hooked.

Type: Loss of a SiblingJust lost my 43 year old brother on July 24, 2007. Having a hard time dealing with it. Miss him so much.

- Went back to work, trying to keep busy so I don't cry all the time.

- Listen to the music I made for his memorial, it makes me cry hearing it but helpful.
