My sweet baby girl is 25, and very beautiful. All her life she has had very bad teeth. They were soft, would not hold fillings, she got contstant infections etc. Yesterday, Thursday, she went though one of the toughest days of her life, (and things have never gone easy for her). She had ALL of her teeth out in ONE sitting, and new teeth put in! SHe was scared, I was too but pretended not to be. A dental surgeon did this under general anesthesia. Her wonderful fiance and her best girlfriend went with her.
She came home swollen, in paain, (naturally), and very discouraged because the teeth looked "too big" for her mouth. SHe was so, so discouraged. SHe went upstairs with an ice pack, and her fiance went to the drug store to get her prescription. We thought he would never get back, and soon he cmae "peeling around the corner," and landed in the yard, running to the house!~ I was waiting in the kitchen with a glass of water in my hand. SHe was afraid she would not be able to swallow the pill because her face was so swollen she could feel nothing but pain. God is gracous, and the pill wnet down! SHe slept until 11:30 p.m. I stayed up and dressed in case she needed anything. At 11:30, she came down, pillow in hand asking for peroxide. The poor kid had bled and the pillow stuck to her face! She washd her own pillow, then I threw it in the dryer. SHe stayed up for about an hour, and tried to talk with me. Her face looks much better now, but we still think the teeth need to be made smaller. (She has a tiney face and mouth_. SHe goes back to the dentist this morning, and I told her to discuss this with him, and be FIRM about it.
God is so good, and I ampraying that she will have a rapid and full recovery. SHe has a wedding to get ready for and up until she met ROb, her live was as close to a living hell as I can imagine. My husband always says that "good things come slow." and he's always been right.
