I've had sciatica for at almost 3 years. My neurologist says it's from tight muscles. I've seen a chiro, neurologist, general Dr., been to pool therapy and physical therapy. Ive used muscle relaxers, advil, Ice and heat and also do a lot of stretching. I am now going to a massage therapist and she seems to do more than any of the above. Ive noticed that sitting is my worst enemy. Working on a way to notsit so much during the day but that's harder than I would have imagined. Looking for any ideas from people who have sciatica from tight muscles

Close Sciatica
I have had sciatica for almost 3 years due to tight muscles. I use advil, stretching and ice. Sometimes this helps, and sometimes doesnt make any difference
Treatments
- Ibuprofen Somewhat Helpful
- Stretching Working / Worked
- Ice Pack Somewhat Helpful
- Ice seems to numb the pain temporarily
- Heat Working / Worked
- Heat seems to relax the muscles
