Good Morning to all my dear dear friends,

Well, as always, it was a hectic weekend.  My sister was home and stayed with us and we had a ball.  We went to yard sales on Saturday afternoon and then to the anniversary party Saturday evening.  We got my new curtains put up.  John worked most of Saturday morning getting the rods up for us.  They were terrible to get up because our wood is so hard.  He broke two drill bits so Cindy and I had to go to Walmart and buy two more.

We picked out the colors for the trim on our house.  It is going to be a cream white and a sage green.  I can't wait to get started.  I am thinking I may even start this evening.  We also picked out the colors for our bedroom.  It is going to be so pretty when we get it done.  It is going to be done in shades of brown.  I know it sounds really dark but it is going to be really pretty once we get it all put together.  I have to get curtain rods for in there yet but we looked over the weekend and found some really pretty ones that were pretty inexpensive at Big Lots.

My sunporch is so pretty with the new curtains that Cindy made for me.  It makes it so homey in there.  My whole house is done in a cottage motif.  Now she is going to get curtains for my office next.  We are coming down the homestretch as far as curtains.  Actually my office and the window in the stairwell are the only ones left that still need curtains.  I am going to paint my office some shade of yellow.

We also found a little sofa table that fits great in my living room.  We found that one at a yard sale.  It needs some refinishing done and I may work on it over the next few weeks.  It will be really pretty once it is done.  And it fits the room perfectly.

So it looks like I have my work cut out for me over the next few months.  I still have my living room to get painted and my dining room to get done.  I am starting to get overwhelmed!!!!  But Cindy said she would come home and help me and Amada, my girlfriend, said she loves to paint and she would come and help as well.  So I guess I had better get started!!!

This weekend however, we are relaxing at the lake.  I can't wait to leave on Friday morning.  I was hoping to get Thursday off but that is not going to happen.  We are to busy here and when I asked my boss, he said he wouldn't turn me down but he would appreciate it if I would work.  So I will be here through the week.

So speaking of a busy week, I guess I had better get my day started.  By the looks of the number of emails I got over the weekend, I have a ton of stuff to answer.  I hope all of you had a great weekend as well.  I will try to catch up with everybody sometime today.  Love you all and hugs all around.
