Wow, the past two days have been some of the worst and some of the best days ever!!!!

Lets see, on Thursday Cameron and Elliott called to have the boys over for the weekend, and I was really down cause I knew I would probably get stuck with mom and dad fighting. So I called Lark to see if she could possibly come over for the weekend. Well she couldnt, but she invited me to go with her to Colorado Springs for a day to see Joy and just kinda hang out. After thinking about it(I havent gone on a long car trip because of my back) I said I would try it. 

So Friday the boys left, and then Lark and her mom came and got me a little late. So we began the 5 hour drive to Colo Springs. Lark and I talked most of the way, she fell asleep once, haha:P Listened to my Superchick CD and I was like, "What song is this?" when one started.

Me: "Oh:/"

Lark:"That didnt sound good." 

Lark a few seconds later: "Oh....."

If youve ever heard the song "Wishes" by Superchick, you would know what the "ohs" are for.

 Then later we were all talking about my head injury, and Larks mom was like, "Allen was really worried about you." and I was like, "Ya no kidding, I was almost asleep and he texted me asking how I was feeling." "Well that was sweet of him." and I just didnt say anything:P lol. 

Then we finally got there, got lost, and finally found Joy's house, and we all went out for dinner at Chili's(which I had never been to before:P). It was really good food. Bricey and Cayden(Joy's little kids) were still all scared of me that night. They picked a flower and we could here them whispering"You give it to her." "No you give it to her." LOL! 

Afterwards we all drove to the hotel, and Lark and I got our own room:D Except we got yelled at by this lady next door, even though we were making no more noise than anyone else in the hall. She called Management on us, but whatever. Lark was pissed needless to say, and she was talking about it all night, lol. I didnt sleep much, I kept waking up. 

Saturday came and Lark and I got up at 7 and ate at the hotel, and then we went to Joy's house and picked up the kids and hang out there for awhile. Lark and I almost fell asleep on Cayden's bunk with them, haha. Lets see, then we went to lunch at Panera Bread and then we went to Jc Pennys.

Lark and I rode with Joy and we were blasting Superchick almost the whole way there. Somehow we got on the subject of "boys", haha. And Lark was telling Joy about Allen, and she was like, "Oh you mean the one who comments on everything you say on facebook?" and I was like, "haha yup thats Allen."

 oh and lets just say I never want to go bra shopping with Lark ever again, haha. 

Then we had to hurry and leave for the airport cause Will(Larks big brother) said he would take me on one of the helicopter tours!! Which was the most awesome experience EVER!!!!!!! I got so many pics too:D

Anywho, then we went to the party for Colorado Vertical's 3rd anniversary. It was sad though, cause Lark's mom said we had to go in 10 minutes......

I spent that 10 minutes watching Lark and Joy play frisbee, and the sunset going down with the mountains behind them. Simply beautiful. I wanted to stay longer, but I had to sing today at church. So we went back, and I got back to my house at about 1am, set my alarm, and went to sleep. 

Got up this morning, got to practice a little late, went to Sunday School, and talked to Lark. Then I went up on stage, and I was fine till halfway through the first song. I saw Allen sitting in the front row........We had this awkward conversation about it on Wednesday, and he said he wasnt gonna be there on Sunday. I was so nervous, just like, double stage fright, haha........but I made it, lol.

And then about an hour ago, he IMed me and says"the choir sounded great today:)" and Im thinking, Do you have any idea how nervous you made me?!     

but ya, and now Im just waiting till Kim's mom picks me up to help with Awana. Im dressed all funny cause its team color night, haha.

The reason I said some of the worst days, was because at times I just kept thinking about the past and it got me so down I cried:/  

But yup, otherwise it was totally awesome, and Im sure I'll think of more to put in here:D
