Went to the gym with my SIL today! I biked 2 miles! My new goal is to bike 100 miles! I did the treadmill for 3/4 of a mile and then had to leave cuz I had therapy and my SIL had an appointment to get to. Did therapy, nothing new. Just got new approaches for dealing with some things. Nothing major. Went to the library and came out with nothing. I have a book I'm reading so I wasn't really on the intent to get a book or anything. Just went in to look I guess. Came home and made myself a lettuce salad with sunflower nuts and cheese and a few crutons cuz I was craving a carb, and they're low in calories and reasonable on carbs and now I had my fix and feel better. I found if I deprive myself of something, I go hog wild later, so I try to find an acceptable filler for what I want. It was that or PB toast, and I know PB toast can trigger me into a carb fit, though I did find a good multi grain bread that I'm itching to try. Maybe for breakfast tomorrow. I have to go to my doc tomorrow to get yet another yeast infection documented to the records, and we'll do the gym for an hour I suppose. I attempted the elliptical and that's a so forget it machine. Didn't even make it 2 minutes. I'll stick with the bike and treadmill. It felt good to be able to work out! I had high ambitions of things I wanna do, but I'm taking my butt to bed shortly with my book and I'll read until I fall asleep. Working out made me tired after it revved me up. LOL...funny how that worked. I'm working on getting in adequate fluids now though. Life's pretty good. I'm content right now.
UPDATED GOALS
Good for you, I would love to join the gym here but I really want to go with someone I know. I guess for now I will stick with walking the dog. I would like to join curves one day. who knows. Pam

I can't handle the elliptical machine either. Man that is a major workout! I ride the recumbant bike and use the weight machines.
