Close Lupus
Was diagnosed with Lupus (SLE) Oct. 2004 . Recently finished Cytoxan treatments in January 2007. Still have high blood pressure and constantly fatigued though. Was also diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease the year before.
Treatments
- Clonidine Working / Worked
- One of several BP meds. Definitely know when I forget to take it.
- Cyclophosphamide Working / Worked
- 2 long years but seems to have worked in suppressing the Lupus.
- Labetalol Working / Worked
- One of several BP meds. Definitely know when I forget to take it.
- Lasix Working / Worked
- Worked in getting rid of all the fluid retention. It was tough to balance fluid intake when it makes you thirsty all the time.
- Norvasc Working / Worked
- One of several BP meds. Definitely know when I forget to take it.
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- If I don't take it my joints starts to let me know.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Worked took forever to get weened off of though.
Close Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease
Diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease in 2003 then Lupus in 2004.
Open High Blood Pressure
I was diagnosed with Lupus Oct. 2004 and up until that point my Blood Pressure was never a problem.
Treatments
- Clonidine Working / Worked
- Definitely know when I forget to take it.
- Lisinopril Working / Worked
- Stopped taking, interacted with other meds and raised my potasium levels
- Norvasc Working / Worked
- Definitely know when I forget to take it.
- Labetalol Working / Worked
- Definitely know when I forget to take it.
Open Hand & Foot Abnormalities
Always had a limp but didn't know exactly what was wrong until I was in the military and was diagnosed with Club Foot (talipes equinovarus).
Treatments
- Physical Therapy Working / Worked
- Helped some.
