Got a scare yesterday. I had trouble breathing. Had had problems all week with coughing, runny nose and congestion. Figured it was allergies that come around this time of year and the crazy weather we've been having going from 85 to 60 for high temperatures. I woke up Friday with not much of a voice. Actually sounded like "Froggy" from the old Buster Brown Radio Show. Wouldn't sound too good on the phone and when I got to work, my bosses agreed and told me to go home. Coughed Friday night into Saturday morning and didn't get any sleep. Then about five Saturday afternoon I couldn't breath. Called 911. Ambulance showed up and I went to the E.R. After about 4 hours of tests, 2 breathing treatments, oxygen therapy, and steroid injection, I talked them into letting me come home. I was just about right on my diagnosis. Allergy attack with emphasema, made worse by the weather changing pattern. Soo, I'm taking a steroid capsule, antibiotic, and inhaler. The inhaler 4-6 times per day whether I need it or not. Got a good night's sleep last night. Annnd, I've quit smoking. Maybe for good this time. Oh, I've tried a few today, but every time I cough, they go in the toilet. Wish me luck.

Lots of luck, i know it's hard to quit when you're addicted to something like that. I myself have never smoked, but i know lotsof people that are. Hope you feel better now that you have meds to help you over the hump. Hugs and kisses, Deb :o)
