Close ADHD / ADD
I have been diagnosed with ADD since I was twelve. I am now a mother of two girls, married,full time student, and work full time. People make comments like "oh did you have an ADD moment" while they laugh. with out medication I come off as flighty, unreliable, and a dreamer. The spot in life I struggle with the most is my house. I have many people who care about me, and they try to understand they just don't.After years of not taking medicine I am now back on medication.
Treatments
- Concerta Too Soon to Tell
- Dry mouth, amped feeling, sometimes headaches, I'm still deciding if it works.
Close Families & Friends Of Addicts
I was the child of an addicted family. I spent six years of my life in foster care. I now have two girls and can not bring myself to forgive my mother. I love my children and it is very hard to understand her choices. I can't forgive her.
