i hate moving... Mood
Thursday, September 18, 2008

you know, i am sooooo excited about our new house! i really am, so dont get me wrong when i say...I HATE MOVING!!!!! this is the first move i have ever made that has just been pure hell. i guess its not really that bad, its just long and hard to do when you got a 3 year old running around. i am just ready to be done and unpacking in my new house. and, i havent had time to workout, and eating is not a good thing right now. i am really struggling with eating right because i dont really have time to cook. so i feel like i am picking stuff up and just popping it in my mouth. i gained 7 pounds while i was on vacation, and i am ready to get that off, plus move forward with my weight loss goals, and i dont see that happening this week. last week i managed to loose .6, but i had also had my monthly visitor right in the middle of the week. so i am getting anxious about this weeks weigh in. i just cant wait for life to get back to normal, you know!!!  a normal, where i know and have planned out what i am eating in a day, where i know i can get in my exercise, where i know where everything is!!!! i guess this is all part of moving, but it is a huge pain in my butt! PLUS, the lady who owns our condo now, (she lives in california), is having her sister show the condo. thats ok, the problems lies in on saturday night we get a call at 8 PM saying they are showing the condo at 11:30, 1, and 4. um, hello, what happened to 24 hour notice??? and alexis' nap time is at 1?? so i called her and said as much, thinking she would understand because she has got young children around the same age. well, she said she would try to change the one and then get back to me...she never did. but whatever right, so sunday we couldnt come home till after 1:30 and had to be gone again by 3:45. then to make matters worse, i spent all morning yesterday moving things in the heat and humidity. so when i put alexis down for her nap i decided i would lay down too.  well about 1:30 there was a knock on the door.  and guess what, it was her sister with two people coming to look at the damn condo. the first words outta the sisters mouth, was she didnt call you did she?? i was fit to be tied. no she didnt call me!! so i asked for 10 min to straighten up what i could because if you have moved you can just imagine what my house looks like, plus i have a 3 year old to add to the mess. i shoulda just told her no, and you cant come in. its still my house right now, right? i am paid up through the end of the month. how rude is that? i mean really!! if it wasnt for her poor sister reaction, i woulda called her (the owner in cali.) and ripped her a new one. i also wouldnt let them look in alexis' room cause she was sleeping!!

oh, ok, i am done venting. i am just stressed, and tired, and well, i want to be done.

Moving can be a very stressful time!! I agree!! And I know it is especially hard having to show your house at a moments notice!! When we were kids my parents were selling our house and one day my sister was sick in bed. The realtors had a key and just came in! When they walked in my sister's room she said"Hi I am sick!!" lmao!! I know it is a royal pain. I think my mother may have even told them that she was home, how rude!!

Well do what you can and be more forceful with them!! You are right--it is still your house and you do have a 3 year old!! I just think it is rude that they think they can come in whenever they want!!!

    Good luck with everything!!

Ok to vent, we gotta get it out and this is just the place to do it. Moving is no fun and I don't look forward to another move either, hopefully not too soon. Wish ya the best and hope all goes well, thinking of you. Stay strong and when things get back to normal it will be much easier to get on track and be in routine. Hugs, Kathy

Oh, I totally understand. We just closed a week ago and moved last Friday to our first house and we are CRAZY!!! We are so unorganized and just started eating normal food instead of Chik fil a on Monday! It's perfectly fine to vent with all the stress going on, it SLOWLY gets easier :) Take deep breaths and know that it does eventually all gets unpacked. Good luck!

Sorry you are going through a rough patch. Just think soon you'll be settled in a better place and you'll never have to think about those rude turds again. Hope everything is going along smoothly now and you are smiling! Miss seeing you more often. But when things settle I'm sure you'll be back here in full force knocking off those vacation/moving pounds. (((HUG))) It'll all be over soon. Moving sucks.

Know this is frustrating and wishing you the best in the weeks to come. It probably would help to get your stress level under control to read your contract and advise the California woman that 24 hour notice is mandatory as per page XXX of the contract. Hang in there sweetie .. we're all pulling for you!!! (((Hugs))) Ranae
