.I AM 60 YEARS OLD AND I LIVE WITH MY DAUGHTER AND 2 GRANDKIDS. I LOST MY JOB TO MY ILLNESS TO CANCER ON THE LIVER. I CAN NO LONGER WORK. I TRY TO KEEP MYSELF BUSY. I LIKE TO DO CRAFTS AND COMPUTER. Hey Bev. Glad you made it back to DS. I still have bad memories from my battle with cancer and the poison - chemotherapy they had to use to kill off the 'stray' cancer cells after surgery. just trying to deal with my past. lived with a guy for 8 yrs and it was great and then one day he just left and he is running from his past. i have lost everything because i couldn;t afford it anymore. met 2 of his friends today by accident and asked me if i heard from him. i said no and it has been 1yr 4mth and i still get anxiety attacks.hen does it stop? somedays are worse than others. have to go on with my life.

sometimes i have hbp and i get a bad headache and weakness on right side of face and weakness on left side causing me to lose my balance . i get weakspells everymonth around the 1st week . do you think it could be a hormone thing? drs do not know why. all tests normal.

Open Colon Cancer
i have had right coonectomy sugery. and they found my appendix and my colon and my liver are cancerous. i have not had chemo yet and debating to have it or not. on aug 13th i have to go to an onocology center and talk to dr. scared about how long i have to live. i know that they did remove the appendix and part of my colon where the cancer was but dont know about the liver, dont know what stage it is yet.helpful info would be appreciated . always bev

I HAD APPENCIL CANCER ON A PIECE OF MY APPENDIX THAT WAS LEFT IN ME 35 YEARS AGO AND IT WENT INTO MY COLON. I HAD A RIGHT COLONECTOMY REMOVED AND THEY GOT ALL THE COLON CANCER BUT ALSO FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE LIVER CANCER BUT IT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE COLON CANCER. DR SAID HE HAS ONLY SEEN 2% people that had it. DOESNT KNOW WHERE THE LIVER CANCER ORIGINATED FROM. DID FIND OUT YESTERDAY THAT THE CANCER IS HER2NEU AND WHEN I GO BACK THE END OF THE MONTH I WILL BE GIVEN HERCEPTIN.

Type: Loss of a ParentI HAD 4 DIFFERENT KIND OF CANCER AT ONCE. THEY TOLD ME THAT WITHOUT CHEMO I WOULD ONLY HAVE 6 MONTHS TO LIVE. AND WITH CHEMO HE WOULD GIVE ME 2 YEARS. WELL IT HAS BEEN 7 MONTHS WITH CHEMO AND I MUST SAY THAT TODAY I AM FEELING ALITTLE BETTER. I GOT REALLY SICK WITH CHEMO. WELL MY DAUGHTER WHOM I LIVE WITH IS BLIND AND SHE ASKED ME TO GO TO A FUNERAL HOME AND MAKE MY ARRANGEMENTS BEFORE I DIE. IS THAT UNUSUAL. I HAVE BEEN DEPRESSED SINCE DEC WHEN MY FATHER DIED. HIS SERVICE WAS ALL PLANNED OUT.
