  Hi Anita, How disappointing about the job and having to start hunting all over again. I certainly hope you get the one you talked about. I suspect most jobs connected to health care are fairly stable these days but I still can't believe that my counselor at the cancer center's job was eliminated. I am now seeing the campus employee assistance counselor but I do miss my former counselor since she was so experienced in working with people with cancer. I will definitely keep your job hunt in my prayers.
  
  I certainly know the building anxiety about the doctor's visits and the CA 125 tests. Actually, that's part of my problems - ha, ha. The best advice that I've been given is that worrying about something that you don't know won't change things. Again, best wishes in the job hunt. I truly hope you get good news soon!   Hi Anita, Here's a rainbow in hopes that it brings you some rain. When I was in Austin last month they local weather people were talking about the lack of rain and I understand that they have still had little rain. We are having the coldest July in almost 50 years. The high is supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow and the 60s Saturday. I can't believe how little I've worn shorts this summer or even turned on the air conditioning.
  
  Thank you for all your words of support to my last journal post. I really hope that the cancer doesn't show itself soon. I do feel fine so take comfort and encouragement it that. Best wishes and many hugs to you, Janet

  I am feeling good, my last chemo was 3 weeks ago. I had a scan Monday, the doctor called a few hours after I returned home (which scared me because I am seeing her on Friday), but she just wanted me to know that the scan was all clear. So hopefully my CA125 remains low, and I will see if I will need radiation (I also have uterine cancer). I know there is a 70% chance of cancer returning but I plan on living to see my future grand daughter grow up. Hope all is well with you.

  We didn`t do anything special the evening of the 4th... However, we had the luxury of watching the fireworks from our bedroon sliders, as they shoot them off from across the condo. I didn`t even have to go out on the deck! Our grown children always seem to have their own plans, these days. I think I need a grandchild to babysit for! Have a great week!

  Dear Anita
  I`m sending you some Jersey Shore sunshine, as we`ve had it for the past few days...The 4th was great but the river has been packed. I was so happy to have had no boat traffic the past few weeks, now they`re making it for it. Yesterday I had to race/sail from 8AM-1PM the winds were treacherous and we did all we could to keep the small sailboat from flipping over. I saw 6 larger boats flip, which always is unnerving to me. Tomorrow I get on my 5:30AM bus to MSKCC and will have a long day. Hope you had a wonderful 4th and arent`t working too hard. Lots of love,
