My maternal Grandmother had Alzheimer's and she lived till she was 91.

In the earlier stages when her memory was going, but she was still living independently, my Mom and I went to visit her one day.

Grandma had all her old photos out and was asking my Mom who was who.

She took out a photo of my Grandfather who is this man? she asked.

That was your husband Mom." Where is he now?

Well, he died many years ago.

My Grandmother looked down at the photo, paused for a few seconds then very seriously said

Did I kill him! It was hysterical!

My Mom responded No..but you wanted to many times.
