Geez what a mess I am. I went to my eye doctor, for annual check up. He sends me to a specialist, who finds both eyes infected and wants me tested for Lupus and Arthritis. I have not a clue about Lupus, checked WebMD didn't tell me much. So if anyone knows anything, mainly sypmtoms, please let me know.
I have had a rash on my left leg, right ubove the ankle for over 6 months, been to a dermatologist, my family doctor and NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS?? It itches me to death, I scratch it till it bleeds and it doesn't even hurt. It stays red, just a small spot. I am so pissed that no one can help me.
My thyroid has been out of whack, who knows if that is under control, I did research and took it to my doctor and I TOLD HER.. I HAVE HYPERTHROYISM. Well what do you know.. yes I do!!!!!! I had to tell her to give me a lower dose.
My diabetes has been out of sight, till I decided to get a new METER... guess what??? Hasn't been over 140 since. In the mean time I am given more meds to get my blood sugar down. I am thinking about going to another specialist, I am so upset, pissed off, angry, because I do not know what to do.
Outside of all this BS I have been going outside and trying to plant stuff. Have a little garden in, rose bushes planted. Going to paint some bird houses. I would like to go dancing, but I am to sore all over, 67 and I feel like 107. :(
I have been so stressed I was going to fix me a drink then I thought don't start that, so I settled for a good old Millers. :) Did I feel better.. You Bet.
I needed to vent.

Gwad I am tired tonight, just can't do things like I use to with my breathing like it is some days.
Today I cleaned out the fridge, took me forever. I looks brand new, I keep opening it, it looks so pretty..lol lol (doesn't take much to make me happy)
Baked a cake for Easter. No one is coming this year, all the little ones had other plans. We are going to bake a ham and have fresh asparagus, hot rolls and go to the movies. Don't know what we are going to see yet.
I am having trouble with my left leg around the ankle and just above there. I can not lay on my right side at night because it makes the left side hurt to bad. Also it is wierd but that area gets like a charlie horse in it, really painful at times.. Two of our dogs licked my leg right where I described it hurt and they will smell it for several minutes, my husband says I need to see the doctor that dogs could sence when something is wrong. Ya'll ever heard of anything like this?
Today my blood sugar dropped to 57, so I drank oj and had a peanut butter sandwich, like I was told to do... 15 minutes later I took it again and it was 409!!! WTF!!! My daughter told me either my meter or I was screwed up....LOL LOL...YA Think?!!
Got in 4 hrs at the Y this week, took Good Friday off, so I am proud of myself. I didn't have an Easter bonnet but I wore fuzzy rabbit ears. We really did have fun.

Aww, I know it's difficult to do things with your breathing... but I am glad you were able to finish the refrigerator cleaning. I bet you are so happy to see it finished. Sounds like you have a peaceful day planned for today. I am by myself today too. I visited with two out of three of my children's families during the week. I will catch up with the third one soon.
I have heard of dogs having the capabilities to sense illness. You should probably go and check it out with the doctor.
Glad you are still going to the Y. You are really doing well with that. Keep up the good work.

Same here, no company, boring. I made a Strawberry Pie, we ate it four breakfast...BAD. My kids make fun of me because I like my fridge organized. Everything has it's place. Just one of my o.c.d's things so I can appreciate your groovin on your clean frig. I agree with Hubby about animals sensing things. I have heard many stories about it. I am sure you have too. Right on down to saving their lives. GO TO THE DOC'S. Hoppy Easter. xo

I have been a good old girl.. got up Monday and today and went to the Y. Once I get there I feel great. Was cold here this morning, 20 degrees.. probably feels like a heat way to the Nothern Plain states.
Still have problems with the amount of food I am eating.. I have got to get this off or the doctor will be all over my ass when I go back in two weeks, why doesn't she bitch at my husband over his weight. Hey I order crap to try to curb my appetite nothing works and she tells me: well you just have to do it" .. God that pisses me off.
Got to go vote for out Mayor and then make up an Easter Bonnet to wear in the pool tomorrow (with my husbands group), then guess what..out to EAT at a buffet.. Hey I have tried everything but a laxative!!!

There are 11 criteria - to get a diagnosis of Lupus you must have at least 4. It can be hard to establish a diagnosis as we all suffer this disease in different ways. I have Systemic Lupus, and was diagnosed in 2005, though my doctor tells me I have most likely had it all my life. Lupus is a very bizarre illness, basically it is considered an autoimmune disease, your immune system turns on your own cells and organs, causing inflammation and damage. It is not the end of your life if you have it...but your life will be changed. Treatment is varied, and has to be individually tailored, what works for one person, may not necessarily work for another. Feel free to ask us any questions and backtrack through the discussions and you will find most of what you seek. Wow definetly sounds like a change in physicians might be in order. Webmd is owned by a pharmaceutical company, Mayo Clinic is a better site for health issues and info. The rash not going away is not good, make sure you get all this checked out or I am going to have to come out there and kick your butt and take you to Minnisota (Mayo Clinic). Glad your sugar is under control, maybe your testing system before was off. And don't worry, when I don't hear from you I still know your there and you are thinking about us.
