I'm back!
Great news for me. Just finished chemo for 6 months AND after getting no help from another vascular surgeon, I received a huge amount of hope from a …
It's been a rough year. Diagnosed with bladder cancer then a blocked kidney and then another tumor that led to a hystectomy and then a massive blood clot 2 weeks after (which was THE WORST experience of my life) I have always been very active and this event (7 mos ago) has changed my life. I am back to work (4 mos off) and can ride and swim and walk but not like before. I will be happy when I can hike and play racquetball. My kids are spread out and I am missing them more than ever.

Used to be very active before all this. Would bike 200 miles a week, hike, swim, run, racquetball....I am glad to be off crutches but would like more steady improvement. I love big dogs and little kids. I love to read and learn about nutrition and naturopathy.

Hi There, im doing ok for now, i just let things get on top of me sometimes...thank you for caring so much...big hugs xx
Does your gall bladder have to be removed? Will it be laproscopic? Good luck with all of that. Can you believe how complicated a DVT makes everything? Thanks for bringing up the whole PTS discussion...frustrating but always good to hear I'm not alone in it. Hi Cindi, How have you been? Yes the gall bladder HAS to come out, they will start out trying the laproscopic way if if the surgeon does not see what he needs to see, he'll cut me. It takes longer to recover that way,(I just hope he can see what he needs to see). Hey a bunch of us arer at that stage, so the # may grow... Take care of yourself and thanks for the note. Denis
HOW ARE YOU DOING? MISSED YA ALL
Have a large blood clot from knee to belly button It's been 7 months of very slow improvement but not much lately. I'm getting impatient. They took me off warfarin and my leg is big and painful after 8 hrs of work and a bike ride or walk. Sleep doesn't come easy even though I'm fatigued.
I was diagnosed 2 years ago.It was supposed to be a simple tumor removal but it led to a second surgery which resulted in a blocked kidney followed by stent placement and then more surgery and a DVT in my leg. I thought the cancer would not come back but last week, I had surgery for recurrence.
