Yesterday I had a pretty good day. I went and got my nails done with my girls after school, which made me feel good, I still had xmas decorations on them. The doctor changed my med and it seems to help alittle. Was on Percocet for ages but a new pain pill came out called Opana which is supposedlystronger. They also put a new medicine in my pump. Still the pain is about the same. I have been really down so I decided that I was going to get up and bring the girls to school and go to my girlfreinds.

It's Thursday, I got up and drove the girls and went to my friends which felt great, to not just sleep in and be on the couch. So far so good of a day. Busy afternoon we'll see what happens!!!!!

Hi my name is Tish and I am a 36 year old married to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful little girls. I have had back pain for 18 years. I have disc dengenerative disease, spinal stenosis, and just found out I have facet joint syndrome. I have had 9 back surgeries and have a pain pump which I'm not sure how much it helps. I am always in pain from a 3 to a 10.
It is affecting me mentally and physically for so long and taking a toll on me mentally. My husbad is my biggest supporter and there for me every second of the day. But that's about it who can kind of understand how I can begin to feel. Looking for people who understand.

HEY TISH, I JUST JOINED THE OTHER DAY ALSO. I HAVE A GREAAT UNDERSTANDING HUSBAND BUT I FEEL THE NEED LATELY TO CHAT WITH SOMEONE THAT HAS EXPERIENCED THE PAIN I LIVE IN. THE PAIN AND THE INABILITY TO DO SIMPLE EVERDAY CHORES WOTHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT CAN DRIVE A PERSON NUTS SO I TRY TO CONCENTRATE ON THE THINGS I CAN DO. I HAVE TO ADMIT IT IS HARD SOMETIMES THOUGH. YOU CAN EMAIL ME BACKIF YOU WANT TO TALK. HAVE A GREAT DAY! GOLDI

There are so many people out there that care about us but it is hard for them to understand the daily pain we suffer, not only physically but mentally as well. You are both right. Sometimes you just need someone to talk to that truly understands your pain because they too are going through the same things. There are great people here on DS who will talk everyday if you need to. Good luck.
