For the next week I am committing to writing my food journal here .. I need to do so to accurately track my calories and be accountable for what I am eating. When I first started losing weight I did this daily ... it was the commitment to myself and provided me with much information. I found out I definitely had an emotional component to my overeating and I learned my triggers by watching what I ate compared to my moods. It taught me that when I was tired, sad, angry or lonely, I would be tempted. As I stumbled and failed a few times, I learned to implement an action plan, to forgive myself quickly and to get up and get going again.
Periodically, I journal again as it still holds me accountable and lets me make conscious choices rather than subconscious grazing episodes.

This is a little higher in carbs than I normally eat; haven't found time to go to the store yet. Ate at the cafeteria for breakfast and this was the healthiest choice ... rather than biscuits and gravy or egg, sausage and cheese croisants or bagels. For lunch, it was again at the cafeteria and the only healthy choice today. Everything else was laden with fat, cheese and high calorie sauces ... there are usually better choices. Even the soup was cream based. For dinner, it was on the fly trying to get home to do work and meet online at 7:00 pm. Subway was the closest and I opted for it over McDonalds, which would have been a salad, a chicken breast and fruit and yogurt snack.
You can eat out and on the fly and stay within your calorie content .. and the higher protein and lower or more complex carbs can be another day. Left myself room for a salad if I get hungry later for Snack 3 ... just am not hungry right now.
All in all, did pretty good .. had all the food groups.
wonderful, Subway is great....a six inch with out cheese or mayo is only 6 points..if you get lean meat. I love Subway, it kept me on track all last week. This week, not so much, I just opened the Halloween candy...great for you!!

I had subway today too! Sweet chicken teryika(however you spell it)
I journal my food, drinks and exercise in another group I am in to encorage them to get more positive and make better choices. It is helping several try to make those changes, because they have been posting too.
Writing it out makes it more real too. Then you can see where you can improve.
Keep up the good work!

Looks like you made good choices for having to eat out. I too love the Sweet chicken teryika subway. Don't get it often but it is so good. I think it is high in calories though. Keep up your good work in journaling your intake.
